I barely join blog contest but when I opened an email from Nuffnang asking bloggers to answer this specific question—What are your secrets in keeping a long-lasting relationship with your loved one? I said to myself, hey you’re qualified to answer and join this contest for the mere reason that I’ve been married to my college sweetheart for 13 years and still going strong despite the hurdles of life.

Us, still in love! We keep on making our hearts flutter after all these years.

Our relationship is not perfect and like most couples, we argue over petty things. But what makes us steady and strong along the way aside from the obvious trust and loyalty and plus the fact that we’re both family oriented?

We are grounded enough to accept each other’s flaw and fill in what’s missing. We compliment each other’s weaknesses and strength.

We support each other through the inevitable ups and downs. We are simply there for each other all the time. I am his number one cheerleader while he’s my number one fan.

We challenge each other to become more and to do more. To grow and flourish amidst adversity.

We always find happiness even in little things. Like watching movies together and doing small things.

Once a year, We travel to a place we’ve never been to  and create memories together.

The most important thing though is that we put God  in the center of our relationship.

Aside from those mentioned above, we also make sure to take care of each other by doing simple house chores like keeping the laundry clean and fresh. And just like #TeamKramer, we only use trusted brands. For fabric conditioner, we love to use Del Forever Joy and Love Fabric Conditioner especially now that it has 15x longer lasting bangooooo vs a regular detergent brand based on consumer test in Metro Manila. You can check their FB page facebook.com/delfabcon for more information on this amazing product.

I’ll just keep this blog entry short and straightforward. I just want my readers to absorb every line and be able to incorporate these secrets and practices in their lives.  For lovebirds out there, I’m wishing you all the good things that togetherness brings into life. May your marriage be filled with DELight and happy moments!

Thanks for Reading!
