Day 7 of 9
It’s bye bye time Bangkok and Hello SG again for us today, we anticipated the early fight so we have packed up our things, retired earlier the night before, get the much needed sleep and woke up with so much energy to proceed with the last leg of the trip. Before we leave, we make sure to enjoy the hotel’s breakfast and at checkout, the hotel staff helps us in getting a taxi that will take us straight to Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Also recognized as the New Bangkok International Airport is one of the two international airports serving Bangkok, Thailand, the other one is called Don Mueang Airport. Located in Nong Nguhao or most commonly known as Cobra Swamp. Its name was chosen by King Bhumibol and it was derived from Sanskrit: स्वर्णभूमि meaning “Golden Land”. This airport as we’ve witnessed is one of the busiest airports in Asia maybe because of the number of backpackers and other travelers making Bangkok as the start/heart of their Asian trip.
We arrived earlier than expected, so we have the time to roam the airport and got myself a few snapshots of it. Sadly, I didn’t have the chance to have a photo of its facade, for me the architecture is one of the best I’ve seen so far.
The airport houses a multitude of high-end brands even Hermes, for shopaholics and signature loving enthusiast this is a shopping haven. As for restaurants, they also have quite a number, but as always, we frequent Burger King before departure time.
As with our inbound flight, we’ve flown back to Singapore via Jetstar in the morning. Jetstar is an Australian Low Cost Carrier operated by Qantas. Same with other low-cost airlines this is a no fuss flight with basic amenities.
As their website implies: an airport worthy of being a destination itself. Yes and they mean it seriously, one of the largest if not the biggest travel/transport hubs in Asia. They simply have everything in here. For those who’ve been here probably knew that this is one of the best airports in the world.
So we explore Changi for a bit and then headed straight to Woodland to rest and sleep there for a night and bond with Cousin and friends. My boo and I decided to splurge a little and experience first class taxi that will take us to our accommodation and voila we had a Chrysler!
