Day 6 of 9
Hello Guys, can’t wait to do this blog post as I know most of my readers love shopping. Yes, for today we’re going to one of the hippest shopping district in Seoul which everybody knows as Myeongdong. From Hotel Cello we moved to Hotel Irene which is near Myeongdong. We checked in there around 12pm, leaves our bags and carry on with the shopping trip. But before we go, we make sure to fill up our stomach at the nearest BBQ joint. We ordered short ribs called Galbi, streaky pork belly called Samgyeopsal and thinly slices of marinated beef called Bulgogi. These yummy BBQs are always served with side dishes called Banchan. Usually served with kimchi, pickled radish and of course for rice eaters, you can order a cup of rice known as bap. We enjoyed the meal so much and devoured everything with no leftovers. Soon after, we walked straight to Myeongdong and discover that we’re actually right on time for Korea Grand Sale which is being held yearly.
Myeongdong is a famous shopping district in Seoul. A mecca of shopping, dining and entertainment. This is by far one of my fave shopping spots for Korean make ups because of its long shopping stretch of crowd favorites Korean brands, unbelievable discounts and awesome freebies.
