Art Box and 13OOK

Annyeong! How are you sweeties? I’m hoping that everyone’s having a blast this summer vacation and for others, their springs. Lately, I’ve been busy as one of our websites changes its platform and requires most of my time for editing and relisting new products in between of our daily shipments plus we will run our global store again. But despite of my frazzled schedule still I am missing runawaymaria so much and ended up at this hour digging through my Mac and find myself writing this blog.

I adore reading, writing and doing crafts and I really squeeze these hobbies into my erratic schedule. I go to bookstore and stationary shops for supplies. And you know what? I can get lost in a stationary shop, bookstore or craft shop for hours. I just couldn’t resist the thought of collectible cute pens and papers. I don’t have a safe with lots of money but I do have a treasure box with tons of stationaries that consist of journals, deco stickers, pens and art materials that I’ve been saving since I was in high school. Well I guess we all have our own quirks and collections and this is one of the many peculiarities that I have.

ARTBOX • my first artbox shopping experience was when we were in PIFF square in Busan and then followed by a night shopping spree at Myeongdong, I am really in love with this shop not because of its cuteness but in terms of its product selection. This cute and artsy shop offers variety of products not only stationaries but they also have cosmetics, apparels and gadgets. So if you’re like me who loves anything cute, pretty and unique then this shop is a must stop for you when you’re in Seoul. I purchased travel cosmetic case, several notebooks. But my favorite among them is a cash book and pastel pink and white polka sign pen of which I have an affair now. I love anything pink and polka! By the way if you’re in Seoul and buy at their branch there, don’t be surprise if you wont get any shopping bags after purchase since they’re practicing no shopping bags policy and you have the option to pay if you want your items to be packed.

13OOK • another shop that I will definitely visit again is 13OOK. Their signage calls my attention when we were in the Hongdae area. I bought my travelus cross here and Im so glad that I stopped and checked their store, if not I wouldn’t be able to have my first HOTPiNK travelus that will be very essential on my next trip. Also, they have an assortment of travel essentials like wallets, bags, journals and chic diaries as well. Plus you can see a very unique line of bags here — the JUMP FROM PAPER collection which is really adorable and literally the bags jump out of a paper. Its like you’re having a roomy 3d drawed and colored bag.
